One of the first things new bloggers wonder is when to put ads on their blogs. At first blush, it appears like a great way to make some fast cash.
But what most newer bloggers don’t realize (myself included initially) is that you have to have a large following to make much money from advertising — at least in most cases.
Some blogs have a small and dedicated following, and the blog niche lends itself to readers making purchases. So knowing exactly when to begin putting ads on your blog depends a lot on what you are blogging about. But in general, don’t expect to make much money from advertising until you have several thousand subscribers.
