Pausing for a moment at an intersection in Paris
Laura, who hosted me during my last visit to Paris, was also up for showing me around her city.
On our first day, we went up to Montmarte and Sacre Cour, which I’d missed during my first backpacking trip ten years prior. It was the last week of December, and a light wintry mix of snow and sleet were falling.
When Laura paused at an intersection, with a heavily-graffited truck in front of her, I took the shot. I much prefer it to the grey images of Sacre Cour I got that morning.
