B+B Collection Ltd has announced the opening of B+B Edinburgh – the latest addition to their award-winning portfolio of boutique Bed and Breakfast hotels. Financed by Professor Vladimir Kulchitsky and his business partner, Penny Brown (the originator of the B+B concept) the move serves as part of the company’s expansion plans to open properties in key tourism locations throughout the UK. Nestled in Edinburgh’s West End, B+B Edinburgh, 3 Rothesay Terrace, was originally built for John Ritchie Findley, the previous owner of the Scotsman newspaper. The building was erected in 1883 and designed by renowned architect of the time Sidney Mitchell, Findley’s house being his first independent architectural commission.
