Today I am craving a bit of drama in the form of chic black and white interiors. I do not have much black in my home, and I think it could use a little bit. Black, even in small doses, can add polish and class to an otherwise casual abode. I was so impressed with the results when Victoria went crazy with chalkboard paint in her new place, and I haven’t gotten it out of my head since! While I’m not sure that I would feel comfortable in a home with lots of black, I could see painting a door or trim and adding small accents in black, or painting a tiny room black. Even something as small as adding black linen napkins to an all-white table setting would strike a chic note, don’t you think?
