Up until the last two years, I spent a lot of time kvetching with my friends and family about how the Internet was going to morph people into anti-social, glazed over automatons.
I was sure nothing good could come from spending hours on the computer, connecting with people online, and socializing without the benefit of an actual human being in the room.
I am now eating my words.
Because of the Internet, I now have a career that I absolutely love. Because of the Internet, I now have new friends all over the world, several of whom I have or will visit in the next few months.
