It’s been a very busy time. Our B&B has been pretty much fully booked, save a few days here and there, and I have been using any extra moments I find to work diligently in my pottery studio. I’m taking things in a slightly different direction, working on new glazes, being inspired by fellow artists, and trying to find a new niche in my little colorful world of ceramics.
I fired up the kiln yesterday. It was full with tons of new experiments. New glaze formulations, new colors, new forms. Everything new. It was a nerve wracking night, but I didn’t have any guests here this morning, so I knew I could just focus on what would be coming out of the fire. Some... More...
