Pick something and begin. That’s as basic as it gets. Sure it’s good to prepare, plan, learn, theorize and debate for a while, but when it’s time to do begin, it’s time to begin.

Writer’s block is no different from runner’s block or carpenter’s block and waiter’s block. You might think some special skill is needed or some perfect time awaits, but what it really comes down to is doing it — simply writing, running, hammering away, serving others.
