A couple of months ago my desire to lose some extra weight and become slimmer, stronger and healthier led me to some lifestyle changes in terms of eating habits and exercise. You might have noticed from my recipe archive that I have a sweet tooth; in the past, giving up sweets  always resulted in failed diets, so  I decided  to allow myself a portion of dessert once a week, as a treat.

So far this is working really well, and sometimes I even skip my dessert in favour of something equally sweet and satisfying, but much healthier, like the truffles of today’s recipe.
