Meta tags are those tiny excerpts of code that are located between the HEAD tags and are important to the post you want to write. They were traditionally used for organizing the web, but spammers and SEO experts quickly realized the potential of these words and abused the meta description and meta keyword tags by packing them with unrelated keywords so that they could boost their search engine rankings.
