Do you think the Buddha loved the planet? He certainly loved all living beings and creatures with compassion and so I believe the Buddha definitely cared for and expressed love towards the Earth.

But was the Buddha born with an enlightened mind and a compassionate heart or did he learn how to cultivate it?

Many religious and Buddhist scholars would argue this fact but from what I have learned and the stories I’ve heard, I believe that it is quite possible and most likely that the Buddha, being a prince and seeing the discrepancies, pain and suffering in life, lead him to seek and find enlightenment.
